Myskeet Acquires WinscoreOnline

Bartonville, TX, Release: October 01, 2019  For Immediate Release

Myskeet (www.myskeet.com) and WinScore (www.winscoreonline.com) have announced today the merger of their business operations to offer a unified scoring solution to the competitive shotgun sports market. Myskeet.com has acquired the WinScore assets, people and customer contracts and the merged business will operate under the WinScore brand.

Myskeet.com was first started in 2011 providing tournament scoring solutions for the registered tournament Skeet market by Ran Davis Software.  WinScore has been managing Sporting Clays tournaments since 2009 and was created by Skip Laughlin.

Ran Davis, founder and President of Myskeet commented “Myskeet’s acquisition of WinScore provides a major growth opportunity for both of our businesses.  Both businesses share many of the same customers and provide similar functionality in their offerings.  By taking advantage of the best features from both products while focusing on the needs of the gun clubs and shooters; we believe that we will be best positioned to produce an offering that will make them successful while pushing the entire marketplace forward!”

Mr. Laughlin will be involved during a transition period to provide the continued high-level of operational support for the WinScore product line.

The expanded business will serve approximately 100-gun clubs across the USA and will manage hundreds of tournaments nationally per year.

Ran Davis Software also provides Shooting League Management (www.league-mgmt.com) which is focused on providing software to manage Skeet, Sporting Clays, Trap, and 5-Stand leagues.

Shooting League Management begins beta in Q3, 2007

Flower Mound, TX – April 19, 2007 – Ran Davis Software introduced Shoot League Management (SLM) to automate the management of skeet, trap, and sporting clays leagues. It is anticipated that SLM will begin a 3-month beta in Q3, 2007 followed by a general availability by the end of the year. The service will run at http://www.league-mgmt.com.

SLM will provide shooting clubs the ability to create and manage leagues, shooters profiles, teams, and schedules while running the league with one of four different handicapping systems. SLM will also allow for virtual leagues across a state and/or region of the country. The application will offer a collection of reports focused on the league, teams, and individual shooters, plus league comparisons with any other league across the country. SLM will run as a hosted solution built upon Microsoft SQL Server and utilizing the Microsoft Reporting Services.

Pricing will vary depending upon the number of shooters and the number of weeks for each league. It is anticipated the cost will average to about $0.50 / shooter / week.

Ran Davis joins John Trustman in creating the new software product development company 1dot0.

1dot0 is a new kind of technology startup – one in which the explicit focus is on invention and creation, not operation and delivery. We believe both that these two goals require differing cultures, organizational structures and styles, and that our strengths and interests lie in the more entrepreneurial and creative side. Our goal is not to create a single, vertical, value adding entity and then to operate that entity for maximum profit, but rather to create an “intellectual capital machine” which repeatedly produces new value adding entities which will be spun out into stand-alone businesses. Rather than focusing on a single vertical business, 1dot0 will focus on a single phase of the value creation process.

1dot0 will work on four to five new products a year, bringing these products from conception and business plan through initial production release. Once any of the products is market ready and delivered to the initial customers, the product will be spun out into a standalone business with separate professional management for continuing sales, development and operation.
